Our terms & conditions

Welcome to ApEx Exterior Care. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our services. By accessing this website and using our services, you accept these terms and conditions in full.

General terms of service

By requesting a quote or booking a service with ApEx Exterior Care Melbourne, you are entering into a binding agreement and agree to be governed by these terms. These are designed to protect both the homeowner and our family business, ensuring a clear understanding of our professional standards. ApEx Exterior Care Melbourne takes extreme care while working on your property, but we are not liable for water ingress caused by pre-existing faulty seals on doors or windows, warped frames, or damaged hardware. We will make every effort to point out pre-existing damage such as cracked tiles, oxidized surfaces, or flaking paint before we begin, and we are not responsible for the further deterioration of surfaces already in a state of failure. We maintain full Public Liability Insurance to cover any direct damage caused by our negligence.

Payments & bookings

All quotes provided via email or social media are initial estimates based on the information and images provided, with final pricing subject to a physical on-site inspection. All quotes are valid for 30 days, though we reserve the right to adjust them if the scope of work or property conditions change. A mandatory standard call-out fee applies to every booking to cover fuel, tolls, and parking required to get our professional equipment and team to your location. Furthermore, any work scheduled for a Sunday will incur a specific Sunday surcharge. Both the call-out fee and Sunday surcharge will be clearly itemized on your quote. Payment for all services is strictly due immediately upon completion of the work on the day of service. We do not offer credit terms, and unpaid invoices may incur a late administration fee to cover debt recovery costs.

Cancellations and rescheduling

We require a minimum of 48 hours' notice for any cancellations or requests to reschedule. Because we carefully plan our routes and chemical loads from our base in Broadmeadows, last-minute cancellations represent a significant loss of time and resources. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may result in the forfeiture of the call-out fee or a separate cancellation charge. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, so please contact us as soon as possible if you need to adjust your booking.

Preparing for your ApEx clean

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the property is ready for service, including ensuring all windows and doors are securely closed and that we have clear access to working external water taps and power points. Customers must move all vehicles, outdoor furniture, delicate plants, toys, and laundry away from the work area prior to our arrival. For their safety and ours, we strictly request that all pets are kept securely inside for the duration of the service. ApEx Exterior Care will not be held responsible for damage to personal items left in the cleaning zone or for our inability to complete a job due to restricted access or unsecured animals. Specific instructions regarding children should be discussed with our team prior to arrival to maintain a safe work environment.

Our service quality promise

We treat your home with the same respect we show our own. At ApEx Exterior Care, we are committed to delivering premium, trade-quality results for every client. If you have any concerns regarding the quality of the work performed, you must notify us in writing within 24 hours of the job's completion. This allows us to return to the property promptly to review your feedback, inspect, and rectify any issues to your satisfaction. Claims made after this 24-hour window will be considered at our discretion.
